All right, guys, here’s the sitch.

I may be getting an apartment soon. This is something that’s been a dream of mine for I don’t know how long, but I am going to need an absolute ton of stuff, like storage furniture (bookcases), a new bed, a couch, and all kinds of other things.

I have a little savings and people have offered to help, but I really need to shore up a lot more funds in order to get myself going, and I am more than willing to work for it. So, here I am.

What do you do?

The samples I’ve included in this post are very indicative of my normal art style. I sketch art, I lineart, I paint. I also make chibis that have gone over fairly well in the past.

As far as what I’m willing to draw, I can try just about anything. Want fandom stuff? Sure! Avatar/LoK, Tales, Dangan Ronpa, Doctor Who, Sherlock, whatever. As long as I get a reference for it, I will try it. The only place I draw the line is NSFW art.

So how does this work with the payment and everything?

First and foremost, you send me a request of what you would like and a reference. I will then make a basic sketch of the art and send that to you for approval. If and when you approve of the sketch, payment is due. When I get your payment, I start on the final. I give an estimate of a week of turnaround time, since I do have a full-time job.

When I’m done, you get a ZIP file of the sketch, the PSD file, and the final, full-sized piece of art. I keep a smaller resolution of the file to place on my art blog for future sample purposes.

Simple Sketch (4th sample pic): $3 USD + $1/add’l character
Colored Simple Sketch (1st sample pic): $5 USD + $1/add’l character
Digital Painting: $7 USD + $2/add’l character
Vector*: $2 USD (lines); $2.50 (lines and color); $3 (lines, color, and shading)
Custom Convention Badge (digital only): $4 USD
Chibi: $1 USD + $0.50/add’l character

*REGARDING VECTORS: I will only vector official art. I will automatically reject any request to vector art from DeviantArt, Pixiv, Tegaki, etc. If you request a vector, please include if you want lines only, lines and color, or lines, color and shading.

The reason I’m freaked out is because they literally just called me to say that my apartment is ready and I have to sign my lease on June 3rd, and I have to have $450 to cover deposit and rent and I am absolutely freaking out about how to cover it.

I did not expect to have to come up with the money so soon. This is why I wanted to build my savings over time.
